master blenders Jaime and Pepin Garcia use Nicaraguan tobaccos cultivated
from first generation Cuban seeds to build the foundation of these homages
to old-world taste, finishing them off with a beautiful Ecuadorian sungrown wrapper which is again the spawn of first generation Cuban seeds. And what a difference these first-gen seeds make. Two full years spent on developing this exclusive Asthon blend have blessed La Aroma de Cuba's Edicion Especial with a potent, and very Cuban, spicy earthiness that resonates throughout the entirety of the cigar. Supporting notes of a nuttier nature creep in, backed by alternating tastes of cinnamon and leather as the burn continues. A solid medium to full-bodied cigar, the Pepins have outdone themselves in constructing these tributes to his home-country as they're more Cubanesque than most Cuban cigars on the market today.
