Two boutique cigar-makers collaborated to create the small-batch profile of La Coalicion. Willy Herrera of Drew Estate and Jon Huber of Crowned Heads got together to make an uber-boutique cigar drafted from an oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuador Sumatra binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. The intricate, full-bodied blend layers the palate with sweet and earthy tasting notes of hickory, coffee beans, and leather in a handful of classic formats.
