La Gloria Cubana cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic in several traditional sizes. The original blend is available in a Natural Ecuador Sumatra wrapper or a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro. Underneath each is a vintage recipe of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. Tasting notes of cocoa powder, leather, and spices characterize the Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, while the Maduro imparts a profile of dark chocolate, wood, and pepper. La Gloria Cubana cigars were originally established by master cigar-maker Ernesto Perez-Carrillo before he sold the brand to the parent company General Cigars over two decades ago.
